Doctoral student Daytheon Sturges, MPAS, PA-C, recently received news that his abstract ‘Pop Culture and Physician Assistant Education’ got selected for poster presentation at the 2016 Innovations in Health Science Annual Meeting.
Daytheon Sturges, who is also assistant professor and clinical coordinator and provider with the department of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern, notified his Health Studies professor Dr. Marilyn Massy-Stokes via email about the news.
“I wanted to share some exciting news. I just had an abstract get selected for poster presentation. This is my first! You have made my first semester as a doctoral student very enjoyable. I have learned so much in these past few months and I am able to apply the knowledge in my clinical practice already. Thank you for your diligence and encouragement.”
The 2016 Innovations in Health Science Annual Meeting will be held February 18-19 in Austin Texas, sponsored by the University of Texas System.
